- hill8302 I am looking for a shoe to wear with jeans in the fall other than heels and boots. I am 5'9 and usually always wear heels, so my jeans are all long. I want something that I can wear all day and be comfortable in. Any suggestions? I was thinking like a closed-toe wedge or clog. I am on a budget, but any suggestions are welcomed! Thanks!
- LizaMock Wedges and clogs are really in right now. They are also pretty comfortable. As a rule, shoes with big heels and platforms are ones that you can wear all day without hurting your feet. Check out some suggestions below. Also, check out piperlime.com and zappos.com, they usually have some great bargains. Good luck!
- piselli1407 I'm getting married on december and I found my dream dress, the problem is that I beleive it might be a little to dressy for the kind of wedding I'm planning to have. 55 people, garden, might occur/not the religious wedding all depends on time for paperwork and my job. what do you think about the dress is it to dressy shall I wear it or not?
- LizaMock Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! That dress is truly stunning and you are sure to look like a princess in it. In my opinion, it is your wedding and you should wear whatever dress you like regardless of anything else. A wedding is one of the most special events you'll get to have so there is no such thing as too dressy. I personally think it's chic to wear something gorgeous to a casual setting like a garden or a beach, it will draw that much more attention to you and on such an occasion the bride should have all the attention! Get the dress of your dreams, you won't regret it!
Stylist mallory_priya_rajan What a cute dress! If its too short to wear as is, you could easily add leggings and wedges for a fun casual look. You could also add dark skinny jeans, belt the dress at the waist and add a blazer and cage heels for a sexy and chic going out look. Since the dress is more of a pale color, almost acting as a neutral, add a pop of color in accessories, like a red or purple shoe or bag. Enjoy! xoxo - 1 Like
Stylist mallory_priya_rajan That's wonderful that you want to try something different! Our styles are always evolving, and its great to embrace a new style every once and a while. You could try a variety of looks that are professional, chic, and sophisticated while still looking young. For a casual look, you could try dark skinny jeans with a striped blue shirt, and red flats with a chic tote, and you could add a boyfriend blazer or military inspired blazer over this to give the outfit a little somethin' more. For a more business casual look, you could try wide leg trousers with a more form fitting top, add a skinny belt at your waist, and pair with peep toe pumps. Definitely don't underestimate the wonders a cute little sundress can do (florals included), and for fall, you could add black (or another dark color) tights to a floral dress and a cardigan. Keep accessories streamlined and sophisticated - and remember that adding a pop of color to every outfit will always make it chic! Good luck! :)
Stylist mallory_priya_rajan All of us gals know how you feel! We all want to wear heels (especially us shorter gals), but sometimes, those darn things just hurt! And even that famous expression, "pain is beauty" is just not cuttin' it anymore. A tip to finding more comfy heels is to look for a platform. If you're not a platform kinda gal, look for a hidden platform so it is not so apparent. The reason platforms are so helpful and make the shoes more comfy is because it raises your entire foot so the arch isn't so high, whereas if the shoe didn't have a platform, the arch would be much more steep, therefore making your feet hurt more. Check out this weird but useful trick that Tracey from Glamour posted on Glamour's website, about taping the 3rd and 4th toe together in order to make walking in high heels more comfortable (I've tried it, and it actually kinda works!). Hope this helps! :) xoxo

- cleargerman Now, that's sexy!13 hours ago FLAG
- cleargerman You can wear wedge strappy sandals that give the illusion of high heels but keep your feet comfortable. Flat boots are intriguing and mysterious in a sexy way. They are not your average stiletto but they give you interest. Flats in leopard print or red will stand out. Straps and showing lots of skin, in your feet that is, will be always sexy. So don't be afraid to expose your feet in delicate thong sandals!
Stylist mallory_priya_rajan What a great jacket! The colors are vibrant and bold, I love it! You could easily dress this down with some skinny jeans, a simple white tee, and wedges, with a layered chain necklace for an effortlessly chic yet versatile outfit that you can wear almost anywhere. To dress up, you could wear it over a dress (like what's shown in the pic), or you could pair black trousers with the jacket, and belt it at the waist to create a nipped-in look - it would be oh-so-flattering and super chic. Since most florals are bold and vibrant, a jacket like this would be the standout piece in the outfit, so you should keep everything else simple and chic. Enjoy! :) - cleargerman To dress it down wear it with a white tee and boyfriend jeans. Nude sandals(you choose the height!) and a hobo bag will finish the casual girly look. To dress it up in something other than an LBD, wear it with a white blouse, black knit pants, black pumps and a metallic clutch.
Stylist amanda♥weiss Ohh lala! I think it is important to look feminine, casual and fairly simple for a first date to make a great impression. Guys like things that aren't complicated so I think a pretty skirt with a fitted tank tucked in would be really flattering and perfect for a lunch date. Add a long necklace, either a cork wedge or metallic sandal, denim jacket and a cross body bag would add the perfect finishing touches! He won't be able to take his eyes off you! - amanda♥weiss You're welcome, have a great time!15 hours ago FLAG
- cleargerman A mini skirt would be the best option so you can show off those awesome-looking buckles! Wear a simple top with a cross-body bag and eye-catching earrings. Get ready for those compliments!
- Kay_Rockett thanks! that helped a lot. If I pair it with jeans... wld be okay too?2 days ago FLAG

Stylist amanda♥weiss I am a total nail polish junkie, and I can never get enough! I am constantly in the stores looking for new colors, and I change my nail polish probably once or twice a week (depending on my plans and how much time I have). For this fall I think of course the rich, deep colors are going to be the most popular...but who says you still can't go bold and bright?! I think nothing is edgier than have a subtle, fall outfit on with a bright pop of a neon orange or fuschia pink, have fun with it! Some of my favorite brands are OPI, Essie, Sally Hansen and Chanel! :-) - 2 Likes
- LizaMock Hey there! For fall, nail polish usually takes a dip towards the darker, richer jewel tone shades. Teal is still in, but it is darker and more subdued. All shades of wine are in from the light garnet to the deepest shades of burgundy, as are shades of dark brown, copper and the ever popular black.

- LizaMock Hey there! You are lucky that you get one day to be creative! Some of the biggest trends for fall are patterns like stripes, plaids, and polka dots, details like ruffles, bows, zippers and lace and colors like gray, olive green and red. The looks are military, punk and preppy, so it's all about putting two things that normally wouldn't go together and making them work. Wear the opposite of your uniform-if you have to wear pants, wear a skirt, if you have to wear a skirt, wear a cute pair of skinny jeans with a top that has some of the details or patterns that are so in style right now. Remember, that although you have to wear a uniform, you can make it your own by choosing fun accessories like jewelery, hair accessories, scarves and shoes. Have fun dressing up!
Stylist amanda♥weiss I will soon be joining you in New Jersey...I fly out there tomorrow morning to visit my family! :-) I hear I am in for some really hot and humid weather so I can totally relate to wanting to stay cool. I think to follow your schools dress code and still be comfortable I would go with trouser shorts with a striped flouncy tee. Stripes are soo popular right now and when worn with a long gold necklace, and red ballet flats is super stylish and gives off the nautical vibe, while still surviving the heat. Finish with a messenger bag and you are set for your first day! - LizaMock Hey Paige! That sounds like a tough situation! I'd wear a cute little skirt and simple white tee shirt, throw in some fun accessories and a pair of ballet pumps with bare legs. Put your hair up and add a fun barrette. Hopefully that will help you survive the heat! When it's hot out I bring a little spray bottle filled with water and a few drops of lavender oil, so refreshing!
- NoellaThomas I'm going for a party this Saturday and the weather's been a little erratic lately (it rains and get terribly cold at night) so i plan on wearing black ankle length skinny jeans. I need help figuring our a top to go along with it (I need to be protected from the cold since it's an outdoor party).
- paige.kardon A designed long sleeve shirt, or maybe and off the shoulder sweater. you can always accessorize with a colorful chunky necklace of a long, dangling pendant.
- cleargerman That is a lovely dress! How about bronze heels? They will be neutral enough not to compete with the dress but will still be interesting and will draw people's eyes down to your feet. A simple clutch and chandelier earrings will give you all the glitz you need when accessorizing.

- cleargerman Check out Bullhead Denim at pacsun.com. They have the sizes you are looking for and they come in short, regular and long inseams. Right now they are having a buy one, get one free sale, and most of the styles are just $39.50.
- elizabeth_perez I would find where Cheap Monday is stocked in stores or online. They seriously have great, durable denim. I got a chance to visit once of their trademark stores in Stockholm last year and they had every combination of waist and inseam imaginable. My other suggestion would be Diesel - I've seen them stock tiny size 24 waist pants before!
- erin_sheehy Great question! Get some extra mileage out of your summer wardrobe by pairing a cute summer dress with a boyfriend blazer. If you have a dress in fall colors, all the better. Add some oxfords to complete the look!

- nimarii I would dress up a pair of shorts! This is a good article on how to dress up a pair of cutoff shorts:

I also love the look that alison_grise provided to my "what to wear to a baby shower" question. High waisted shorts with a feminine camisole on top!

- LizaMock Lady Gaga is notorious for her absolutely wild fashion sense. For one of her concerts dress as crazy as you are confident doing. Grab some lace, leather, fishnets, heels, hats, headbands and lots of dark eyeliner and bright lips. No matter what you wear, chances are you are not going to shock any of her fans or feel out of place. This is a great excuse to give yourself total freedom with your clothes and just have a blast!
- LizaMock Hey girlie! The truth is that guys really don't notice your clothes all that much. And the ones that do all like different things. I know guys who love jeans and a tee shirt on a girl, and others who love a super feminine dress or skirt. The most important thing is your attitude. Guys will find a girl dressed in a potato sack sexy if she is confident and fun. Your best bet is to dress for yourself. Wear the clothes that make you feel good. Trust me, your confidence will be the best kind of aphrodisiac!
